If you drop the DVD and the overhead console you can run the lines to the front of the headliner then along the windshield line to a the "A" pillar. The bracket that the DVD and console hang from acts like a channel. Real easy to do. Let me know if the X3 works for you. It looks like it acts as an interupt to the RSE...So I guess when the DVD is selected on the headunit you can use the X3's switch to select between inputs? I wonder what happens when the DVD is playing.

Bridge, I bet I will only be able to use one or the other at the same time. I did run my xm radio through a line fm modulater (which connects directly through the antenna port. So if the kids are watching the dvd, I can listen to the xm radio.
I ordered the x3 yesterday....I ll let you know how it goes.

well I received the stuff from p.i.e a couple of weeks ago and everything installed very easily. I plugged in the ipod and the xm radio through 2/3 available rca inputs. I installed the little switch inside the center console.
