Power Steering
Hi - I own a 1986 Ford Ranger. I was told that I can use Transmission fluid in my power steering reservoir. Is this true? Is it the same?
Thanks.

Yup, I use Type F tranny fluid in mine.

You do not mention what kind of fluid in your original post...

But, as noted above, if you meant tranny fluid for Fords, yes you can.
