The switch and fuse could be related...if the fuse is blown, swtich won't work...

Follow this link..many pictures of upgrades, the truck, etc:

I'm in the process of completely redoing the body in all Durabak (bedliner like Rhino-liner). Check those picks out too.

well...

I dont think the switch has to do with the fuse cause it just hangs there lol but i get what your saying..it wont work unless it has power going to it.

Unhappy ok

so. I havent changed the fuse yet but. i had to pull the window up last night because i have to take my daughter to school with the bronco and i dont want my 6 1/2 mo old in the back to freze. But i did try to see if it was the latch cause i noticed on the drivers side dorr lol they put some tape on the bar thingy that door latches to. So i tried that and nope....again still havent put a new fuse in. Cross your fingers!

Here's to hoping it's just the fuse! Replacing it is only a 30 sec job...replace that sucker and let us know! If you replace the fuse and it still does not work than like I said before, have someone push on that tailgate while you turn the switch.

Were you able to look at my 86? I don't think there is that much of a difference from the 85. Good luck and keep that baby warm!!!

My bronco was not that much the guy wanted $2,000 and i was like nope the window is cracked so we got it for $1,800 Still over paid but i dont regret it at all. The guy knew that it was gonna break thats why he sold it. I dont mind puting new parts on him because just makes him love me more!!! Him= Frank the Tank=my baby truck!

So i went out and looked at the fuses.."i love my hubby" he said that some little one was the fuse for the window..well nope... there are two big ones that have like a metal casing on them with like wireing wraped around the fuse under the casing. So when he gets home we will go to the auto store.. Oh whats holding the window up...lol....is a whole bunch of his old work shirts and a blanket and an old bathroom rug and a sheet. LOL When he took the window out he broke the black things that were atatched to the windo and he doesnt have botls with nuts that fit. so yeay!! I was scared all the way to take daughter to school but it didnt move.
