1995 Bronco Thermostat Replacement

Probably been discuss many times before but, I'm new to this Forum and to my Bronco so if anyone has any handy tips or things to watch out for while changing the thermostat in my rig I sure would like to hear about it!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

be sure to use the stock temp stat 195*. dont over torque bolts , otherwise the houseing may crack

May seem like a stupid question but, where is the darn thing located at. Someone told me it's inside the Water Pump housing.

If I remember correctly it is on the pump outlet to the radiator. I think.

I think its actually on the manifold inlet. If its a V8, it should be right on the front of the engine, in the middle above the water pump. Its in a little cast elbow/housing.

just follow your upper rad hose, that'll take you to it
