Battery Cable Mounting Bolt/Nut

I changed batteries in the Aero and evidently I stripped the bolt because the battery cable won't stay on the terminal. What size nut/bolt is the mounting one?

thanks in advance

Usually 1/2". Not sure of length...easy enough.

You can buy replacement bolts for battery cable ends at the auto parts store. But if you have the lead type cable ends, you're probably at more risk of having broken the U-shaped lead cable end than stripping that bolt. (Unless it's been corroded terribly.) I'd pull than end off and check for cracks in the lead. If that's broken, no amount of tightening the bolt is going to help--you'll need to replace the lead end.

For durability, new cables are better than new ends. Replaceing just the ends allows corrosion to get inside the wires.
