Questions about Hypertech.hyper-pac???

Anyone using the Hypertech diesel programmer on their 6.0 Ex? I read a pretty compelling article that spoke well about this programmer! It really seemed to me to be the SAFEST programmer for towing as far as power and egt's? Well I am just trying to figure out which programmer to use or even if I should buy one! I am towing a 6000 pound hauler. Well tell me what ya all think........Thanks! Oh and for those who have their 6.0 programmed, does it really help the mileage all that much??

I have had bad luck with the Hyperjunk on other cars. I'd go with DP-Tuner as they did a good one on my truck and many others.

The hyperpac is different from a programmer, in that the programmer lets you upload and remove. The hyperpac setup is more like the edge juice/attitude tuner. It stays connected and gives you on the fly adjustments and readouts.

However, boost + fuel= higher EGTs. no way around that. That being said, with a 6000lbs trailer your should be good with any tuner as long as you use a towing tune.
