I know about the hand wringing part. I do that often, myself. In fact, every time I am about to take my cutoff wheel to a perfectly good part of my truck, I question my sanity. But, a couple of frosty beverages later, I'm at "what the heck" and start whackin. Haven't had to scrap anything yet.
Bobby it is looking real good, I do remember when the reinforcments were the rage on the old trucks as the rear bedsides would flap in the breeze.
Yes there are some real great things that PO's have done, or so they thought. I also found a few but managed to get it back to stock.
