i am finishing the first stage of bringing life back to my 87 f250.. i put a jasper 460 in the truck, and ordered it as a early 70's block with a cam and what not. i had the flywheel zero balanced, tranny re-built, and all works well together.
the problem im having is that whether driving or at an idle the motor hesitates badly if i go to quickly rev the motor or stab the gas. i re-built the carb.. new power valve and acc. pump all that is done... im thinking it could be the msd. distrubutor.. since there is no vacuum advance... or a vacuum leak itself....
any input would help... ive been working on the truck non stop for a while and kinda burnt out on it, so i could be overlooking a simple answer.. thanks.
ps if it helps the motor is a 460 like i said.. with a holly street avenger 750.. performer 460 intake.. msd 6A.. msd distrubutor...
