Man w/ all this exhaust stud talk here lately, I'm wondering should I go ahead and buy a new set and replace them as preventative maintenance? Or should I live by the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" rule.
I have no leaks and no broken ones as far as I can tell. They all look pretty good. My truck is on 04. Are the one's that I buy off my dealer's parts shelf any better than what I have in there now??? What do you guys think?
If yours are in good shape, look at the end. Stainless studs are torx, and the old style studs have a hex shape.
Doesn't than just blow. I got the old style than when I asked for the new ones. I didn't think they where stainless since they worked just like the old rusty ones. Crap!
