Exclamation banks turbo down pipe

i cant seem to get the last bolt out of the turbo to disconnect the down pipe, the botl is realy close to the firewall, and i cannot get a rathcet, or a box end wrench on it, i can get the open end on, but cannot turn the wrench.....i tried crows feet, but they will not work either! since the truck is crashed, i just cut off the front behind the grill so i can pull the motor and trans right out, but this doesnt help much seeing as i will still need to take it all apart to get it into the other truck.....does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do? Dustin

Use a die grinder and cutting wheel to cut a hole through the firewall maybe?

Sounds like you need a bigger hole so you can use a bigger wrench.
If the cab is trashed already.....
Cut the cab mount bolts, slide the cab back, lots of room.

stubby wrenches work on that bolt. i also took a long wrench and heated it up with a torch, and bent it to fit around the downpipe to use to break the bolt loose. you only get 1/8th turn out of it at a shot, but it was enough to break it loose to use the stubby wrench to take it out.

Like tjc stated, I used a stubby to take mine off. It's a big PITA but it can be done.
