Not the blower motor...

My heater/AC fan is pretty finicky. It just decides to work when it wants to. Sometimes, if I hit a bump in the road, that will encourage it to come on, but that is not necessarily the case every time. The blower motor works fine once it decides to work. I replaced the motor and the same thing was happening. Any ideas what it could possibly be?

Thanks!

The resistor pack or its connector. Look under the hood on the pass. side. Follow the wires from the fan switch to the black housing. You will see what looks like a plate held with two screws. Remove the connector, remove the resistor pack. See if the coil is broken or the tabs for the connector are broken.

Welcome To FTE !!!!

I just changed the resistor and plug on my BII. The actual problem was corrosion so bad that one connector on the resistor came off with the plug.

Funny Thing...

The funny thing is that since I posted that post, it hasn't quit working. I will take a look at the resistor this evening. Thanks for your advice!
