Squeaking sound when in reverse only
I have recently bought a F150 4X4 auto 4.6L motor. There are 62,000 kms on it. When I back up (reverse) I get a squeaking sound. It is rotating noise the slower I go the slower the repetition is of the noise. I am thinking it must be a brake caliper or u joint. I have been driving in mud the last two weeks.
With only 62k on the truck could I wouldn't think it would be the u joint. It does not make any noise at all when it is in Drive (foward). TIA Reg
