2004 Expedition Driver Mirror....Bulb Replacement?
New to the site. I was wondering if anyone knew how to take off the bottom "blinker assembly" of the driver's side mirror on a 2004 Expedition. Looks like it pops off, but I don't want to break it of course. I need to replace the bulb for the "courtesy light" that comes on at teh bottom of the side mirrors when you use the keyless entry or open the door.

If you push the entire mirror assembly forward (like folding your mirrors, except in the opposite direction), you will expose screw normally hidden in the mirror hinge assy. Removing this screw will allow you to pull the lenses off to replace the bulb.
The process is described in the owners manual (it's in my 03 manual, not sure about 04).
