yes i did but it would only idel at 750-800.thats not enouph to raise the oil presure to push the cold oil to the top..its not enouph to stop wet backing..and it takes for ever to heat..my ebpv still works.i hear it kick on do to the 5" strait pipe..it sounds like a jet .and that as well helps heat faster.in january and febuary we will be 30 to 40 below every night the high idel works wounders then....
Yes, my trucks' the same way... only goes to 800 or so on the warmer days. When it's actually COLD out it gets up to 1200 or so. And you gotta love that straight pipe shrieking jet/banshee when the ebpv closes, huh?

lol yes i do..at work .next to a small air port.i start my truck at the end of the day..that thing kicks in.people look up to see what it is lol...i love it..
