TV Antenna
When I bought my 01 X, the external TV Antenna was missing, but the mount is present - it is a window mount style that looks like the antenna ran horizontal to the ground and is attached to the drivers side rear, long, window. Since I bought used, I'm not sure if this is the "stock" setup or if it was an aftermarket, but I'm looking for a replacement antenna.
If this is not clear, I'll try to get some pics and post them later. You make it out in my sig picture, just not very well.
Any ideas?

My tv antenna is in the lip of the headliner and front windshield if you look up under the rear view mirror yours may be there to.
Both my 00 and 01 were in the same locations, not sure if they placed them anywhere else.

You guys know if they have always installed one from Ford? Are you talking about the OEM roof mount TV? If I have one I've never tried it and thoght that the monitor was only for the included DVD player or game port. Mine in 2005 EB if the year matters. Now that I'm thinking of it, don't know if I ever read that part of my owners manual... Thanks!

Not sure about all of them but on mine when there is no tape or dvd in the machine, it defaultly goes to tv reception.
But when you lose the remote like my kids did, I can't change the channels. I just leave a dvd in. I think they throw them out the window.

Bummer, I was getting Xcited about the TV option. I have looked into the satellite TV (roofmount Satellite antenna) option, but it's a lot of work and expense, especially for that little screen. I'll just keep adding to the DVD collection.
engco, I'm with you, don't know what they do to remotes, like magic powers they can make them go away. I keep mine in the car hidden in center console, try not to let them have it...
