Overdrive Wont Work?
Hey i have a 83 Ford 100 and the overdrives screwed up, it wont go into overdrive, what should i do? because i hear if i dont do somthing soon Drive will be the next thing to go? any Information would help.

I could use a little information regarding this problem as well. I have a 2001 F150. This morning on the way to work the truck bucked under acceleration, then the "Overdrive" light on the shift stem started flashing. I searched this site but was not able to find any information on the problem, other than it may have a blown fuse(?) No check engine light or codes.

well i had a broken part in my tranny, though i was slipping in O/D and all my other gears most of the time. but tranny is new, and still have light flasshing with a new error code, the mechanic changed the sensor twice with no differenses, so hes now checking the wireing.
