Brake bleeding problem
I am having a problem bleeding my brakes on a 04 f-150. I took it to a pretty good mechanic. He told me that there is air trapped in the abs somewhere and that ford has a special tool that can get the air out. Also, I am getting an obd2 reading, P0506, idle air control system, rpm lower than expected.

If you didn't replace the ABS unit there is no need to do the service bleed.
Just bleed out all 4 wheels good.
These trucks have a soft brake pedal to start with. In fact if you push hard enough you can put it to the floor.
