lower a '87 f150

i'm looking for information (tips, or techniques) to lower a

1987 f150.

lowering

I have a 93 F150 that is lowered 3" in front, 4" in rear with Bilstein shocks all the way around. Up front I used 2" coil springs at first but I didnt like the ride so I put on DJM dream beams w/ the stock coils & a Belltech shackle/ hanger kit in the rear. If I were to do it all over I wouldn't have ordered the coil springs just went right for the dream beams. I would do a flip kit in the rear which came in the box with the dream beams. If you decided the flip kit makes it too low in the rear then you can always un-flip it & install shackles & hangers.You didn't say what your truck is used for but I tow a bass boat with mine & even have hauled building materials in the bed with it lowered.
