Proper way to lower 96 F150
You need to find a company that sells the ibeams for this truck that are made for the lower set up. I have seen them before but don't know who makes them. The ibeams are set up to have the spindle off set so the suspensio still stays stock and the ride stays the same.

I own a Ranger(same set up) in the front you can go with 3" lowering beams and 2" drop coils and you'll need to buy two camber/caster adjusting bushings(I use 2 1/4 degree) to make alignments possible. In the rear a flip kit and angled shims will work. I have some people use various spring hangers but it tends to make the rear too stiff. hope this helps. OVALADOAZUL@HOME.COM

I myself own a '94 F150 ext cab flareside and have been looking into lowering my truck 3"/4" front/back. Any Truckin mag has several articles and phone numbers to contact dealers. My research has me leaning towards belltech or DJM suspension parts. They sell them as kits for relatively inexpensive. Good luck with the project.
