after market flat beds

Im converting my 79 F100 and want to replace the 8' bed with an after market flat bed . Any suggestions where i can look for one ?

Well not sure about aftermarket ones but I would have to say if your going for a flat bed you should probably design and make/get it made to what you want. That way you can get exactly what you want for function and looks.

i dont know if there still in bizz but they called knappahide im not shure on the spelling but they do/did make 8x7 flats real niceones i might add if ya live in east texas i know were ones at down there 4 300bucks

Where are you about any heavy trailer sales or truck supply or dealer can help you find them in your area. Last one I had made was in 96 . But for the price they want now for any of them $1200.00 and up for non custom steel . I just get stockers every 4 years . Funny in 94 A 8 foot stock bed was $600.00 and today I can get one for same price Buy the stuff and have a local welding shop make it. They can give you ideas and make one to fit truck exactly. good luck
