I heard the Ranger seats fit nicely, I use Mustang II seats, look nice and fell comfortable, although they don't adjust except forward and back.

I'm putting an 86 Buick Century front seat in mine. It happened to be free, so I'm using it. It has the center armrest and the fit is perfect. The only thing I don't like about it is that it came out of a four door and therefore the back is solid so I can't put much behind the seat. While in a salvage yard recently, I measured some Ranger and S10 seats and they also appear to be a good fit. If I remember correctly, your original seat is about 50-52 inches at the widest part so there are a lot of seats out there that would work.

I have a seat from a late 80's ranger in mine. It fits just fine and looks like it belongs there. It is an inch or two narrower then original. I used the original adjusting tracks and made an adapter plate. What I like most about mine was that it was free.

The Buick seats require no fabrication. They bolt directly to the floor using the Buick seat tracks.

The Buick seat is about 3 inches lower than the stock seat, but since I'm 6'3", I like it better because I see through the center of the windshield instead of the upper quarter. Depending on your height, you could always add a piece of boxed tubing or wood under the seat tracks to bring it up to the same height as the stock seat.

I used the stock tracks with the Ford Ranger seat to get the height close to stock. Even with the stock tracks, I used a few washers to get the height and angle correct(or at least the way I wanted it). It didn't take much of an adaptor to get the stock tracks to fit the Ranger seat. I don't remember to well how the Ranger tracks would have worked. They probably would have worked but were shorter and narrower then stock and would have required more holes in my floor (already plenty there). It might not look as good but you could probably fabricate adaptor brackets under the seat tracks to get the hieght, angle and spacing the way you want it.

Any bench seat of approximately 50" wide would be a good starting place. What ever works with what ever you have. My Ranger seat was free, so that's what I used.
