Howdy Guys. Well after tearing down the truck to replace the timing chain, it turned out not to be broken. Guess I should have tried starting the truck before ripping everything down. Ohh well, I threw a new timing chain on it anyways since the stock one had a lot of slop in it.
Well now that it's running the CEL is on. I know on pre 94 GM cars I can use a paperclip in the ALDL port under the dash to get the CEL to blink codes. I could easily take the car to Autozone but the local AZ has real idiots who refuse to scan a car half the time. So is there a link to a how to to pull engine codes? Im assuming based on what the previous owner told me that the ignition module could be bad (runs a little rough, feels down on power, could need tune up), but I'd like to find out what mr CEL is trying to tell me
