Personally I'd go with the ARB if you have the $$. Then if you want you can also do the 9 inch with the same locker. I hope it's not the same locker in the Rubi. I know of a few that have broken the carrier.

I personally would go with the E-Locker. It goes from limited slip to locked. The ARB gives you only locked or open. Locking the front makes turning difficult, there are times a limited slip is all thats needed.

I was reading an add today for the E locker and It said open or locked. I thought that when it was first introduced that the E locker was a True Track or E locked. I got out of the 4WD/money black hole a few years back and havn't put any research into much lately. Untill last week when I dove back in and bought a new NV3550 and a truck load of other STUFF.

Does any one know what happend to the proposed Track Tech -LS/E locker??????

I agree with that. If you want manual selectability for the trail, an open/ spool is the way to go for the front end. In a situation where you are on snow, ice or mud, I would rather have an open front end compared to a limited slip. Unless you are only going straight, a limited slip wants to steer itself.
I've used a few different LSD's in the front of mine. In the extreme situations where I needed the traction, they never offered enough traction(except for a Power Loc set up tight with extra clutches). But, get on a slippery surface as I mention above, and they suddenly want to work. On an off camber trail with a drop off, a lack of steering control isn't a comfortable feeling.

I am currently running an OX locker in the front end (Detroit rear). It works great and I haven't been in a situation where I missed having a LS in between both on the trail and snowy winter driving. I like the selectability so much that I'm thinking about dual ARB's when I get around to the D60/ 14 bolt swap, but I haven't decided yet.
