Nope, never heard of it!

(I release energy by putting my right foot down though!)

It is a antifriction metal conditioner that can be used in all automotive fluids.

I doubt that Energy Release or any other of the dozens of similar products (like the teflon engine additives) would have any significant effect on performance. One product that has proved to be more efficient is synthetic oils. Try them. I am using synthetic blend in my crankcase and rear end and a full synthetic in the tranny. I will confess to using Rislone n the crankcase for the past 23 years. Don't know if it does any good, but it sure hasn't hurt (my recently-sold '84 300 I6 has 176,000 miles and is still running very strong).

I have used it, but not since after I got rid of my '93 Ranger a couple of years ago so that I could get my Crewcab. So, the question is, does it help? Yes, I think it does. My gas mileage went up 1.5 mpg averaged over several months. I also had a friend that tried it in his Dakota. Increased his mileage also, and he still uses it. Synthetic oil might result in the same improvements in mileage also. I don't know, I never have used synthetic oil except in my Yamaha WR 400.

I know where the stuff is made, but I have never stopped by to take a look at the factory or ask any questions.

I went to their website and looked it over. They make some amazing claims like that the stuff fills in pits and pores in the metal to make a smoother surface thereby reducing friction. I am thinking of putting the stuff in my differential end which has the pitted gears and is howling to see if it helps. (Obviously not a fair test but from my perspective worth a shot for only 15 or 20 bucks.) I talked to one of their distributors who thought it might help. He said it is called Energy Release Metal Conditioner. Don't know if I want to put it in my crankcase though.
