c8ae-h heads

are c8ae-8 heads any good, please tell me any and all information about them, looking at getting a set for my 76 f-250 4x4 4spd

There isn't a bad set of FE heads. These are plain regular FE heads, nothing special about them. My book says 68.1 to 71.1cc chambers. Ports are close to 427 medium riser size. Valves are 2.02" / 1.55".

They're identical, except the D2 and later heads have induction hardened exhaust valve seats. You would need to have hardened seats put in your C8 heads.

I have set of C8AEH heads on my 418 fe, I have done extensive porting and have had larger valves installed on them.... Their very nice heads...
