clutch engaging

clutch engaging
the clutch on my 2000 f-250 is engaging when i have the pedal pressed all the way down. it takes a couple of min. of having the clutch pedel press in before it starts to engage. if anyone has had this problem or has an idea of what it could be please help!

Sounds like the clutch master or slave cylinder has bad piston seals, my jeep did the same thing, it was a bad master cylinder in that case. If it is the slave cylinder, it may show up as a wet spot on the cylinder end inside the bellhouseing. I have an auto so I am not sure of the layout that ford uses, but they all operate on the same principle.
