Stalling Torque converter??

Wow, been a while since I have posted here. And actually had to change user names since I forgot my password, and have changed email accounts.(used to be crawf74) So anyway, the problem at hand. Well to be blunt, My torque converter is stalling. May seem obvious, but it is doing it at about 1000 rpm. I have a remanufactured trans, and recently installed a P.I. Torque converter. Well it worked great for about a week. And now all of a sudden the it is as is the stall speed went from about 2200 to 1000 rpm, and my truck bogs really bad from a start. I know it is not the PCM trying to lock it, as when I hit my manual T/C lock, the truck jumps and dies instantly. Driving down the road at freeway speeds the truck behaves normally. Any clues on what would cause the stall speed to suddenly drop to almost idle? Is it worth trying to do a fluid flush? Thanks!!
