Replacement valves
I was looking at replacing the valves on my 302. How do I know what diameter to go with?

Are you talking about stem diameter, or head size? I presume we're talking about the C8OE heads discussed in the other thread. Your valves should be 1.78/intake and 1.45/exhaust with a stem diameter of 11/32" A good machine shop could open those up to accept 1.94/1.60 valves.

Big valves dont matter if your ports suck. Stay with stock unless you are going to do some porting.
