shift sqeal

When shifting hard while pulling the fifth wheel with my foot to the floor it seems that my belt is squelling I looked at it and it does seem a little wore thought things last a long time its got 80,000 on it. Yo dont think that sqeel could be something else do ya. I had a V10 that did the exact same thing

Could be the belt but it could also be excess boost bleeding off back through the intake. Belts are supposed to be 100K i believe

I don't get it. I have never had any trouble with slipping belts on this or the previous three trucks that I have owned. All the previous ones were big block gassers. Radiator fan locked and roaring, AC on and pulling a trailer up a mountain pass. You can feel it dragging the motor down it's taking so much power off. No belt squeal or slipping.
I'm all ears if anyone has some thoughts.
