Quick question for guys running stage 1's in 94-97 psd with the auto transmission. do you need to replace the tranny or can the e40d handle the stage 1 injectors.
That e4od will probably puke with the stage 1's IMO. It's the weakest link in these trucks. Good news is that an e4od can be made to hold a bunch of HP but big $$.
If your tranny is in good condition you could probably get by with a good converter and valvebody. My tranny guy is John Faubion 405-222-0185. Look at my hp numbers and you will see he knows what he's doing.
