I'm going to say, no it won't.
I have yet to see a 15° HPOP properly feed even Stage-1's, with good tuning.
Been there, done that. It will run them, but with good tunes, not to their full potential for sure. If you work the truck fairly hard, it won't work for s@#t.
I personally agree with Jim. I have heard more stories of stage 1s with stock HPOP throwing codes and smoking... than have heard of them running to their full potential just fine.

just my .02
I could throw codes easy, and it smoked a whole lot more as well.
I get better fuel mileage with the t-500 also.
Your looking at atomization between pumps, the 15 cannot supply as much oil as the 17 as quickly, so during acceleration and hard take offs, you loose atomization.
Granted you wont see this in normal every day driving, but the pressure is not there as soon as it is with an upgraded pump.
My truck drives completely different with the t-500 vs the 15.
Upgrading the pump with the injectors will ensure the best results.
Do you have too?
No, but your truck will fuss at you occasionally.
I've been running Stage 1's for a year on the stock 15° with no problems. It doesn't mean I won't upgrade it, but I have not been ready and it seems to function properly without throwing any codes. I fully realize that I will upgrade the pump someday to take full advantage of Jim's Stage 1's. I just wish Joey had not upped his price on the T-500 until ~after~ I was ready to buy.
So, I am trying to understand the duty cycle on the pump. I've been monitoring the PSI and %DC numbers but I do not ultimately know what they mean.
Putting my foot in it, I get ~30%DC and ~2200psi. What should I be looking for? What tells me my 15° HPOP is either tiring out or at its limits?
Reeeeeeaaalllly.... well I guess I know what my next upgrade will be! I'd rather get it before it gets me, cause knowing the timing I have, I'll upgrade injectors and it won't go out when convenient... lol
