AIH question

AIH question
I have been reading on wher to hook the boost guage, and many have gone the AIH route. so I took out what I think isthe AIh and ther is a big spring dealio...so if it is indeedthe AIH then what do I doo with that and the wires attatched?

Some have cut the element off, and left it flush with the inside. I just spent the $10 or something for the plug and now have no AIH. It's on the shelf, though. Another trick is to use a Cummins 5.9 ISB (in dodge trucks) engine's oil drain plug, it is the same thread pitch and diameter, and close in length. However you wont see me with any Scummins parts on my truck, so i just bought mine at Puredieselpower.
