What is Ford up to? I don't think the super duty is released as it's final production, I have seen a few different F-250/350 around Dearborn that have looked different than the released photos. Changes include no side vents on the front fenders to twin tips for the exhaust, all on the diesel platform. Now that the truck has been shown off in Texas, you see a lot more "M" plate super duties rolling around the streets. I will say one thing, The new 6.4 is quiet

I beleive the twin tips and lack of side vents indicates a gasoline engine. That would also explain why it was so quiet. Remember, the Superduty comes with two available gas engines...I could be wrong, but that's what I would think.
Umm, I don't think the the 6.4/new bodystyle comes out until the 08 model.
Yes, but I think that Crash is suggesting that he has seen test mules rolling around Dearborn. Very common for Ford. There were all sorts of spy pics of Shelby GT 500s tooling around town (including a great set of one at a fast food drive-thru at lunchtime!) before the public release.
Most of the promotion pictures released so far have been of higher-end trucks, I believe. I am curious to see what some of the more plain-jane optioned trucks will look like.
Also still VERY curious to know what the 6.4L option will cost...
From what I seen on a Ford sight, the diesel will have different color side vents than the gassers, but they should both have them. One is red I think and the other is not. (black?)
yeah go to the ford website...the gas vents are black and diesel a red....from what i seen the powerscope mirrros are not available in the xl and xlt models...i hope thats just the power part and not the whole towing mirror...i hate the paddle mirros...if you look at the f250 they show....its extremely ugly compared to the 350 and 450
