Why such a thick weight? These engines were spec'd for 5w20. Given the two options though I would go with Castrol, but only cause I like their bottles. Truth be told, there would be no difference, one is not better than the other.

5W30 is great for the motors. 5W20 is spec for the new motors. anything over 10w30 might be getting a little too thick for this design of motor. still work, but not the best idea. Any good brand of oil meeting the new spec is fine. Pensoil, Quaker State, Valvoline, dont make a difference.

2001 F150 Screw with 5.4L. We all know she's spec'd for 5W-20, but she has 92k miles....
would you run:
MC 5W20
MC 5W30
Penzoil Platinum full sythetic 5W-20 or 5W30
Quaker State Q Torqe 4x4 truck full synthetic 5W-20 or 5W30
