Okay, so here's a great one for all you guys. Like an emotional female, i got in a fight with my ex, took off some rings and threw them at the dash of my 04 EB expy. they, of course, fell into the passenger side defrost vents. Now, is there a way to get them out w/o having to completly pull apart my entire dash, or go to a shop? Yes, I know, i will never do this again....

I think the vaccum option is best, but I give it 1 in 3 odds. Is he still your Ex? If not reinforce that whatever caused the fight is his fault and put him to work tearing down the dash. You might have to promise somthing in return for finding the rings though
geez thanks guys. I think i might just leave them in the car unless i decide i feel like hasseling with it. I bury the memories in the dash
bridge-yes, still an ex. and even if he wasn't, i wouldn't trust him to work on my vehicle. And the favors? yeah, he would owe me. but thanks for the suggestions!
Go buy a small magnet and some dental floss. Tie the magnet to the dental floss and fish the magnet down the vent. Repeat until the magnet finds the rings and pulls them out.
go under the dash, tap around till you hear them. then remove the glove box cut a hole in the duct and getm out. I had a blend door problem i fixed this way. I used duct tape to put the piece back in and put the glove box back in. and no one can see what i did.
