Thumbs up guages, turbo installed

Spent the last two days installing new turbo (stock A/R's with banks comp wheel), and guages. Turbo was a breeze, this is my second time. Guages took me a while on sunday but well worth it. Did a 150 mile run today . WOW, does a head wind really affect how hard youre engine is operating. I saw 100 deg. jumps with a strong headwind. How do my numbers sound on stock setting-flat ground. no head wind, unloaded, probe pre-turbo?

idle= 250 deg
55mph, 3-5lbs boost=450 deg.
65mph, 3-5lbs boost=550 deg
70mph, 3-5 boost=600 deg.

These where my numbers with good conditions. On the biggest mountain (3 minute drive at 70) i drove up the highest my egt's got was around 850-900 deg. Throughout the whole drive no matter what my speed or boost was or load on the engine my egt never exceeded 900 deg. highest boost i produced was 15lbs pulling that big mountain, but, there was still more in her. I was about half throttle at 15lbs. Guages are awesome , im glad i installed them. Gonna run it with my bullydog later this week! I also stripped the insulation off the drivers side intercooler pipe and in combo with the banks wheel it sang the whole time i was on the hi-way. I also went back together with a new ebpv blank pedistal, and flapper delete exhuast flange, and the code eliminators from DFUSER to handle all the new codes i created by eliminating the whole ebpv set-up.

Also for all of you that read my post about my emergency about 4 weeks ago when i had a funny smell in the cab, I figured out what was cuasing the smell that made me and my family dizzy. It was my hpx leaking on drivers side head. My Synthetic motor oil was dripping onto the up-pipe cuasing the smell i had never encountered before. That is why it was coming and going. Took the hpx off for now and ran down to the CAT store and got two new o-rings and re-installed the factory plugs. Long weekend worth every sec. Sorry about the book, just stoked about the new improvements!

Thats about the same unloaded temps @ speed and crusing boost I have been seeing.

I haven't been able to brake the 900* mark yet either. State troopers keep coming from the other way.

Glad to hear you found the source.
