Power steering issues
I posted in the 67-72 forum also about the problems with a leaky Bendex unit on my 65 250.Long story short is I have had the top seal replaced twicw and both times it started leaking immediatly.This is the last leak in the truck and I need to get it fixed before I start on the brake conversion and body work.I can get a 75 donor 250 with power disc brakes but no power steering.I am wondering if I can use the maual steering column from the 75 and just install a ford system box and pitman arm.If so can I use the p/s pump from the bendex system.Is the manual box from the 75 the same size as the p/s box in the 75 like the bendex is on the 65?Sorry to beat a dead horse on this,I think I have worn the search function out on this forum looking for answers.I am so ready to park the 65 to start on the resoration,even bought a back up truck to run to the dump in.Just need to gather up some more parts to get this job underway!
