Hopefully, you didn't have to replace anything. I know what dead mice smell like after a few days... not something I'd want to experience in my vehicle; mostly because after a week with a dead animal in a vehicle, it's not likely you'll get the smell out.
furball 69: Took the seat out and vacuumed as much as I could. Sprayed with McGuires smell remover. Used upholstery cleaner, used Febreeze, Used anything we could find. Drove around with windows open for 2 days. Getting a lot better. It just takes time. Thanks for all the input. Tim
When I was on the police force and we had to deal with a body in a house for a period of time, We'd find coffee grounds and put them in a frying pan on the stove. They did a great job of removing the odor. You may try to burn some in the vehicle on a small sterno stove with a pot on it. Be extremely careful not to tip anything over and catch something on fire.
