If it's the 4R100 4 speed automatic, it should have the drain plug.
RON
No its a 5 speed, but it does have a plug. I was just asking cause i bought this truck used with 48000 on the clock and dont know any history. Changingthe oil yesterday i noticed the trans pan had a plug, which sorta suggested to me the fluid has been changed. Thanx
The TorqueShift comes with a drain plug in the pan. FYI, draining the pan does not change all of the transfluid. Still leaves the fluid in the torque converter, cooler, and lines.
Best to use a hot fluid trans flush machine to properly exchange all the fluid. Also there is a trans bypass filter on the lowert right hand side of the engine bay, by the radiator. This is a spin off canister that takes a filter insert. Filters are about $15. This should be changed also.
Also the TorqueShip takes special transmission fluid "Mercon SP" that can only be purchased from Ford. Using any other fluid risks damaging the transmission.

Hope this helps
Thanx bro, that i Did'nt know. Well i noticed mercon sp on the dip but i did'nt know you could get it from ford. That sorta stinks.
