big project
I have an 82 f-150 4x4 with a 302 automatic. I plan to fully restore the body and do a straigh axle conversion on the front add 9 inches(actually comes out to about 10 -10 1/2) suspension lift with maybe a 3 inch body lift if the 40 by 18's don't clear. Not sure what tires yet. i would love boggers but they wear to fast. I am going it paint it a dark blue with a silver strip down the bottom of the truck that flows over the fenders. There are alos going to be bushwaker fender flairs to make it look a little wider. I want to instal a moonviser and maybe a cab fairing. If i find one i might also do a hood scoop. I also want to use doors off of a 94 or 95ish for the nicer mirrors and less chance of rust. For the axles i will probably go with 4:10's with the big tires this should give me an ok gear ratio. lockers will also be in order. a custom billet grill and shave the bumper bolts smooth front and rear. aluminum diamond plate over the bed rails and tailgate as well as mud flaps. crome diff covers and who knows what else i miht do to the out side. I still have the inside to do yet! someday when i hit the lottery i will start. till then i am just saving my pennies. I also have a tricycle that i build that i still tenker with every now and then. so far it went from having a 3.5 hp tecum to having a 5 horse brigs. i might someday soon paint it. it is to damn fast already for your but being 1 foot of the ground. it does about 45 mph! I used a chain drive axle from a lawn mower so that i had spider gears so it would turn.(makes for a nice smoky burn out though!) even if it is only one tire

My mutt is my project. I wish it was done!! Check out my gallery to see all the frame rust its got. I am going to be very busy with it this summer since I didn't get to work on it at all last year (besides demo work). It needs brake lines all the way back and a LOT of sanding. Hopefully it'll be done by this fall though.

I guess mine qualifies as a project. The '64 is a done deal and a reliable beater but the '94 has been snowballing now for about three years. I figure the new paint will put me over $40g's but there won't be another '94 Flareside quicker in my neck of the woods. BTW...The 545cid stroker is being revamped next week to 557cid with a roller cam and aluminum heads. Wheelie bars? Hell, yes.

I'm building up a '84 E150 into a badass tow truck for the racecars. I want to do a 4x4 conversion but that would be a lot of time and money. Right now I'm going to rebuild a FI 302 with a AOD and get it running and stopping right. I guess after I get it all worked out and make the interior all cool I will either lift it or put a 4x4 drivetrain underneath it.

my daily driver is an ongoing project. First it was the water pump, now its the fuel system, and it just seems like every time i fix one thing another thing goes wrong. Its sitting in my driveway now and i wrecked my spare car (2001 saturn SC2) so it kinda sucks not being able to drive. I replaced the return lines they were the only ones cracked and it still wasnt gettin fuel. Next is changing the o rings on my injectors.

I got the ladder bars built and they work very well, totally adjustable for street or strip use... then I managed to make two pieces out of the flexplate so after a few weeks of waiting, a new TCI StreetFighter C6, SFI approved flexplate and new aluminum driveshaft with 1350 series joints, I figure that should hold together... what a money pit!

my project is my 76 F-150 ranger. as of right now it has a 390,C6,np203 and is sittin stock height. over summer im puttin a np435 and np205 in it if that dont drain me completly its gettin a 6" lift with 36s. my over all plan is a 428CJ roller motor, 1ton axles 9"s of lift and 38.5 boggers but that is a ways on down the road.
