Father-son project that I wouldn't/couln't trade for anything. Lost 2 girlfriends over it, they said "Me or the truck" and out the door they went.

I also have a 1965 Mustang Coupe 289/Auto, with long-tube headers and lil stuff done to it. Getting ready to repaint and repair the body, maybe a 8.8 or 9" and hopefully something like a 306 stroker. Has Mickey Thompson ET IV wheels with BFG Radial T/As, Accel points-solid state distributor conversion, Accel 9mm wires, platinum plugs, basic stuff, nothing major..YET.

1949 Lincoln 4dr Sedan with a Flathead v8 and an automatic trans(unknown original). Untouched yet, waiting till I go to Wyotech or get done with Iowa State.
Damn, I'd kill for that stuff. Since I sold my '68 Mustang, and my Dad sold off his '73 Mach 1 and '66 Hardtop 289 A-code 4-speed, I'd love anything that's non-fuel injected (I really hate the idea of computers in cars), but it's hard as hell to find one that's worthwhile down here to work on. I had a love-hate relationship with my naitive California, but it was easy to find some fine *** classics there. I'm jealous you get to go to Wyotech, too, I only wish I had the money for that.

Otherwise, I have a '61 Mercedes 190b Ponton ragtop sedan, 4-on-the-tree, manual everything which I'm restoring. If it had a/c, I'd consider keeping it, but with Texas summers being so brutal on a California boy like me, I'm going to do kind of a minimum and sell it for profit. I got it running and I'm doing brakes right now. After that is some cosmetic work.

Since I totalled my Bronco, I have a '99 Ram Van conversion w/360 for my DD. If I don't sell it, I may get a G-tech Performance SS computer, 3.92 gears, a Hypertech Power Programmer III, tranny cooler, Reese or Draw-Tite hitch, 1.7 rocker arms, 52mm Fastman TB, and Mopar M-1 intake for it. Inside, I'd get a woodgrain dash kit and make some new wood trim under the windows for it, as the stuff that's in there now is this ugly oak that I'd love to get rid of.

In any case, whatever I'd get would have to be a pretty good towing rig, as I am planning on living in a mid-20-foot travel trailer when I move out.

The biggest one is the 392 Ranger, '87 pre-runner with a stroked 351W/C4 and '76 Bronco running gear. Full roll cage, fuel cells and spare (and maybe the radiator) in the bed under the roll cage, diamond plate dash, Autometer guages, racing buckets, 5 points etc, etc, etc. BUT, the body is stock (except the fenders and bedsides... hmm). It's coming together nicely! The roll cage is in and the suspension/transfer case is in, the dash is ready to go in and the 351 is on it's way to becoming a 392!

The other I just got, a '64 F-250, 2 wheel drive with a 292/4spd. It will be my workhorse until the remodel is done, and when the ranger is done I can tear this one apart and get the resto going.

Mine is a 1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop. I inherited her from my grandpa, she sat for 22 years before I towed her home. I put in a battery, changed the plugs and wires, put fluids in her and she fired right up!

I'll toss a little money her way when I'm not trying to keep my 88 F-150 breathing.

similar situation happened with me and my falcon, but it was twenty years and i had to cut off the muffler cause it wouldn't run longer than a few secs with all that mouse nest packed in there, but it is now the best running vehicle i own!

I am currently building my motor for my 86 F-250. It's got a fuel injected 302 but I am going to put a bigger cam in it and do a port and polish job on the heads.

got a 89 bronco II I am working on some to fix up, mainly just slight cosmetic stuff (finally got the old interior dome light in it again, no more dark interior!) kick panels put back on to hide the onboard computer/drivers side junk, need to get a window motor gear thingie so I can put the drivers window up/down without a glove forcing it up, and fix the passengers side back seat so it folds forward and I can put in a bunch of cat cages when I get my drivers license, etc.

I work for the humane society and they are chomping at the bit to put me up to cat transports (to adoption centers, hospitals) /trappings, etc (luckily all the feral spraying and crapping cats get shoved into a gmc van so my interior will be fine, i'll just transport traps/food/myself to the locations)

after I get this into a half decent looking specimen, then I get to find a job, save up a ton of cash, and get a ford excursion, then use the left over cash to quickly stick a new transmission in it (probably buy it, then see if I can drag it down to a guy I know locally so I can save time) and I have a diesel drinking truck to enjoy and start little pet projects on it!

i've got my 1966 F-250 daily driver which i also inherited from my grandfather. i've rebuilt or replaced everything on that truck. the transmission is about the only thing i haven't touched. ran out of money when it came to the body work so that will have to wait.

i just bought myself a racecar that's sucking up all of my money. it has been sitting for a number of years but has a feature win or two. just had a complete motor built from scratch and bought a new clutch set up to go with it. i have to wait until the new year to buy the safety stuff. seat belts, fire suit, helmet, and window net. just ordered a hitch for my truck and am now looking for a trailer. sorry guys, the car came with a brand new '03 monte carlo body, so that's what i'll be running.

on another note, my 2004 yamaha raptor 350 is now paid off so maybe i will start putting money into that.
