Engine build date

Hello,
I have a 2006 F350 cc psd automatic build date of 03/06. I have been trying to find the build date of the engine. I looked on the driverside valve cover and found the barcode system with numbers underneath it. I was wondering if anyone could help me decode them.

The numbers are as follows

2614 / 7268 / 2

06f350psd,

You need to look at the Yellow sticker on the drivers side module on top of the valve cover.

Those numbers you have appear to be from the white sticker.

And the date is in the form of: YYMMDD? Is that right? (For ex.: mine is 060622, or June 22, 2006)

Mine reads 180106. I believe is DDMMYY. The 18th of January 2006. Reading it from the left to right.

Mine is 161105 11/16/05

2006 F250. The build date on the truck is 11/11/05. I guess the truck was sitting for 5 days without a motor, oops Harry, we forgot something on this one!

Yes I am! Its a electronic box on top of the valve cover on the drivers side with the yellow sticker.

Must be common. I know my certification sticker is 11/05. I think the actual build date is 11/17/05. And the PCM sticker has a date of 221105. They all must have been in a hurry to leave for Thanksgiving break and realized they forgot somethin'.............like a motors.........
