My 94 3L with distributor ignition now dies when warming up now that the weather is colder (50deg). It will stall at the first stop sign, three minutes from starting, as you try and move away from stopped. It won't restart unless you leave it sit for three or four minutes. It than runs fine the rest of the day. When about to stall, I can save it by quickly pumping the gas pedal as if it's a bad ol carb with a poor choke. When it wouldn't start, I jumped out and installed my gauge on the fuel rail and it has 35psi, round or bouts, so I'm ruling out supply. Is this in dire need of a manifold/injector cleaning, a failing warm up fuel control issue or could it be a flakey module?
first step is always read the ECU diagnotic codes KOEO & KOER and please post here on Aero forum
A little more history: I posted the problem a couple of months ago before it cleared up(until now). The differance is I have found there is rail pressure and pumping the gas makes a differance. There are no codes thrown which led me to suppect the pump which is now ruled out.
