I was driving down the local Blvd today and passed one of the many car lots there.
anyway, there was a 70-72 (was on my bike so didn't take a long look) F-250 4x4 SWB CC sitting there. I've always loved the body style and it being a CC is just a bit of a kicker.
I'm debating on taking my '84 bronco down and talking about a trade.
Went back and looked at it, looks to be in good shape. its equipped with power steering(box leaks) and power brakes. actually followed it back to the lot as somebody was driving it and its a bit crooked, seems to be from the axle because the rest of the body is in great shape, other than the battery tray, for the age.
has an aftermarket steering wheel which I don't like and its got a newer stereo. the interior is in great shape, has a fabric head liner newer carpet and clean seats.
mileage is 66,156 but I'm guessing it needs a 1 in front.
they're asking 3,000 for it I'm thinking its a bit steep but again its a 71 CC.
Well, from a purely practical point of view, that beast will be hell to get around any kind of city. I've got a supercab, and it's still pretty tough to park.
Of course, it looks to be in great shape and it's a pretty rare truck from what I've heard. I say go for it. If you have regrets, it's not that tough to find a another bronco like what you have.
if i had your bronco i wouldnt trade it, that thing is nice. is the 71 at a stealership? it looks decent for a 35 yearold truck, but i wouldnt let that bronco go to get it.

I'm not too worried, I drive my dads X-cab LWB PSD all the time and have no problems, just have to get used to driving something long.
Plus, thats why you buy something old, it'll be a bit stronger than the other rigs on the road.
Took it for a drive, needs a bit of TLC. it'll move if you get on it.
It was a repo, so I asked about trades and they said sure, what do you have, I replied and '84 Bronco, she says, well he (the owner) could probably get those at the auction for $500, to which I said true but I doubt he'll find one in as good a shape as this one. We'll see.
