overhead temp sensor

overhead temp sensor
Ok i have a little problem that i cant figure out.I installed an f150 overhead console in my truck.I wanted the outside temp display.
Now when the outside air gets cold,the display gos down in numbers.But when the temp gets warmer the display will not move to show increase in temp.
I have to unplug the the temp sensor to get it to read the warmer temp.
Like today,this morning was 36 degrees out.As the day went on,the temp went up,but not on my display.
Turn the key off does not help.

yeah i know,but when its reading 33 when its really 63,it cant be that far off.lol
