3V blower thought
So i finally got around to talking to ford uy in town. This guy does all the work on lightnings and cobra, as well as other ford vehicles.
I mentioned that no makes a blower for the 05 up v10's. He said " thats because they went to the 3 valve head which made the front of them motors different that 2 valve head's". He then went on to say " as far as forced injection goes it shouldn’t matter if you can mount the blower, or Turbo I have done 4 F150's with the new 3 valve heads and they all work fine with a porcharger set up, one should be able to buy a bigger blower for the F150 to make up the cubic inches and then have a adaptor plate made to mount the blower. Im sure there will be a few little problems here and there you have to work out but if you have the blower set up the little problem are just that little problems. Then you can use a STC programmer to tune the fuel delivery. I’m not sure how much fuel those injectors and pump flow so that might also be something to consider. Main thing is that if you can get the blower, turbo some one should be able to make it work".
So what do you guys think. I know that a $5-6K blower will put us almost back to the cost of the diesel, but you will never have the instant torque of the v10.
On a side note, does anyone have a F250 crew with the 4:30 gears? I just looked a 07 V10 sport crew with 4:10's which has no problem spinningon accident, the sales guy said yea they are torquie and the 4:10's help it, you should drive one with the 4:30's!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

Not sure how the rest of the driveline would handle the added power, but I'm sure I know what Ford would do about your new truck's warranty!
