I have a 1960 F250 Crewcab ( 4 doored ) short bed. It was modified by Orrville Specialty into a Crewcab for the military, supposedly ( registration shows otherwise ). I would like to get a Members Site started on Crewcabs and other aftermarket cab styles ( anyone ever heard of a "Sleeper Cab"? ) and information on the companies that produced them. Does anyone out there have any information on these styles of trucks? I'm more interested in the Crewcab info at the moment, whether it be a 2, 3, or 4 doored version. Any pictures would also be greatly appreciated, but please, FACTORY Aftermarket cabs only, regardless of the condition ( the truck too! ).
If anyone knows of any old Crewcab or Odd cab styled trucks sitting around somewhere, whether it be a junk yard, someone's barn/field or anywhere else you can e-mail me directly at calgearhead(No Email Addresses In Posts!) with info. and pictures because I don't get to check this site very often, unfortunately.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Dec-02 AT 03:08 PM (EST)]Also, anyone who owns an early crewcab ( pre- '65 ), I'm trying to get a list together of how many Crew and Odd Cab models are still out there. Thanks.
Well mine not a 1960 Ford,but its a pre-65 and its a full 4-door with 6 foot box. How about a 1952 Mercury M-3 4-door 1-ton dually ? The only one I know of running.
