Lazy eye?

I think one of my eyes is starting to become weaker than the other, or maybe I am just noticing it now. I used to wear glasses when I was younger and had a patch for a short while.

So without making an appointment for the doctor I decided that I would ask you guys first. Does anyone know any eye exercises that will strengthen the weakening eye? Or any other methods to help it out?

Thanks

I'd go see the eye doctor.

Never ever ask your optometrist how to adjust your clutch or your motorhead friends how to fix your eye. You will end up with a slipping clutch and an eye patch.

I have to wear glasses or my eyes will cross. That's about the only reason I have to wear glasses unfortunately. There's something they can put in glasses to help.. can't remember the name but they put in my current glasses and my last 3 pairs didn't. Big difference.

There are excercises, but go see a doc first. Don't mess around when it comes to eyes.

Google the subject and do some reading. It seems the sooner you start the better, but make sure there isn't something else going on too.

Build yourself a brace that you can attach to a beach-chair, the brace shuld hold your head in a forward-looking position; place chair in middle of clothing-optional beach, sit, fasten brace.

Seriously though, see your doctor.

Ok Ok I get it.

Just thought I'd ask here first.

If someone wants to close this thread or delete it, before someone starts to beat me up I'd appreciate it.

Lots of people have lazy eyes.

Some animals have lazy eyes as well.

It's a muscle related thing.

Eye exercises:

When you drink beer keep your eyes on every drop, that will strengthen them.

Oh ! and of course power lifting grilled cheese sandwiches with a line attached to a fish hook in your eyelid would work too

I think last year in Men's Health magazine, there was a question printed along the same lines as you. I forget the exact advice given, but I think it went like this: Focus your sight on something near to you, like the back of your hand, for 10 seconds, then immediately focus on something farther away about 10 feet, for 10 seconds, back and forth like that.

Keep in mind, it's been a long time since I read the article so the numbers may be off, but what I do remember from it was this: See an eye doctor.
