Hi Gang, Please help me make welcome our new co-moderator TigerDan.
Jared aka Ford_Six has decided he needed a little time to catch up on some other things in his life and would like to give up moderating. He will still be dropping in as time allows but doesn't have to show up as often.
I know Dan's username from the moderator forum but don't know much about him or his Ford trucks. Dan will you take a moment to introduce yourself and share a little about yourself to the guys here.
Thanks John, and you other folks as well! I'm not quite as much of an expert in these particular trucks as John is, but I have two of them and have always been fond of the trucks of this era. I have a '72 F250 Explorer Camper Special with a 351C/C6 and a '68 Ranger CS with a 360/NP435 which is my daily driver (both trucks are in my gallery...the '72 is a little rough...!)
I'm really looking forward to co-modding with John in here, and it sounds like it's going to fun! I handle 3 different engine forums but this will be my first stab at working in a forum that covers the entire vehicle.
Hey- give it a minute, willya John! Welcome, Dan! Like the others, I see your name a lot on the forums. You're certainly more qualified than I would be- I don't even have a bumpside anymore (Got involved w/ a Slick). I still really love this vintage, though, probably b/c I got my driver's license right in the middle of the model run (1970).
Thanks again, people! John, there were already three other responses when you made that last post, I thought that was pretty good! Heck, I never have really been accepted in the first forum I modded, so I really feel welcome here already!
I think it just gets over-looked by alot of people (including me), of who the mods even are,and don't give it much thought. I just recently became a supporter of FTE, and now notice more who the other supporters are.
Sooooo, long over due-THANKS TO ALL THE MODS AND CO-MODS FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO!!!!!!
I'll post a simular thank-you in another forum for the other mods that may not see this here.
Oh goodie a moderator that knows about me and where i'm coming from, this will be fun, welcome TigerDan let the beatings begin. Congrats bro.
.....Carl.....
