Some of us "eastern" people have to go to bed at some point so we can get up and make mo' money to keep "playing" with our toys! That said, A BIG Welcome to the group Dan.
At least I have a chance against you Dan as i'll loose picking on the "War Department" aka wife every time.
I learned to pick battles I have a chance of winning.
The beatings will continue until the attitudes improve.
That's a classically funny line, but I believe its "The beatings will continue until moral improves." It reminds me another one... those who can't be athletes should be athletic supporters.
Around here the moderators don't get beatings. We have a much better hazing involving a block of dry ice, an olive, a coke bottle and butt cheaks. Goal: successfully move the olive from the dry ice to the coke bottle without getting stuck to the block.
I thought we sent you the earthquake...there was a 4.5 yesterday at 10:00 AM with the epicenter 5 miles N-NW of Cobb, which is only a few miles from me. The house shook pretty good, knocked a few things loose but nothing broken. Another lesser one about 20 min. later, and then a nice little 3.9 roller about 4:30 PM, all located around Cobb. Actually, the epicenter of those was probably closer to The Geysers.
I'm surprised you don't have more heavy seismic activity than you have, heck your almost in the middle of a volcano. Is all the geothermic energy being tapped and used? The city of Alameda has money invested in the geyser field area, part of the renewable energy program. They also buy off PG&E's grid and sell to us cheaper than if directly from PG&E. Adding a middle man costs less?
...my job here will be asking alot of questions. i just don't know enough to be answering many questions.
I don't either, but it's my job to fake it as if I do! Shhh, don't tell anyone!
Carl, Mt. Konocti is considered to be extinct but the whole area under Clearlake is supposed to be one giant lava field. Doesn't explain why it's so cold up here in the winter though, you'd think a little of that heat would make it to the surface!
And don't get me started on PG&E...

My retired electrician hero lives in Oregon on 5 acres, he has a hot spring that produces 22 gallons a minute water at 143 degrees Fahrenheit over last 70 plus years the PO stated. He has heat exchangers for house, garage and work shop, free heating except the for the electrical. One smart general foreman who I worked with for many years. Anything for free sounds good to me.
Gentlemen Please. We have worked hard to make this forum the #1 Ford truck tech form on the world wide web. Ken even created a general discussion forum for non Ford truck discussions.
